1. Introduction
ArtizenLive is India's leading event artist booking and talent management platform. We specialize in connecting event organizers with professional performers across various categories including music, dance, fashion, photography, models, and entertainment. These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings, collaborations, and transactions carried out through our platform or in association with ArtizenLive. By engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Scope of Services
ArtizenLive provides end-to-end event talent management solutions, including:
- Curation and recommendation of professional performers (musicians, dancers, emcees, singers, musicians, photographers, models, and more.)
- Facilitation of advance artist bookings and contracts
- Advance payment collection and disbursement
- Legal documentation and compliance, especially for minor artists
- Promotional support for featured artists
- Invoice generation, payment processing, and tax compliance
Our services are available across India and are subject to artist availability, venue readiness, and prior confirmation.
3. Booking and Payments
3.1 Booking Confirmation
To secure a booking:
- Clients must make an advance payment as a percentage of the total booking value.
- This payment guarantees the artist's availability and allows ArtizenLive to initiate coordination.
3.2 Balance Payment
The remaining balance must be paid directly to the artist before the performance. ArtizenLive is not responsible for delays or cancellations arising due to non-payment.
3.3 Platform Commission and Invoicing
- ArtizenLive charges a commission on the booking value, deducted from the advance.
- All payments are exclusive of GST (currently 18%). Applicable GST will be charged and reflected in the invoice.
- Tax-compliant invoices will be issued by ArtizenLive after the event and full artist payment.

4. Cancellations and Refunds
Clients may cancel bookings under the following terms:

Refunds are processed within 15 business days post-cancellation and returned to the original payment source after verification.
In cases of Force Majeure (natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or emergencies beyond control) ArtizenLive will attempt to reschedule the event or issue partial refunds on a case-by-case basis.
5. Client Obligations
Clients are expected to:
- Provide complete and accurate event details (timing, venue access, stage requirements, etc.)
- Ensure venue accessibility, permissions, and readiness.
- Coordinate with performers for final setup, rehearsal, and technical requirements.
- Make timely payments to avoid disruptions.
6. Performer Obligations
Artists are expected to:
- Arrive on time and deliver the agreed performance
- Share technical requirements (e.g., stage plot, instruments list) beforehand
- Conduct themselves professionally and may promote the event via their social media and list the gig on their profiles.
- Retain the right to sell their own merchandise without revenue sharing with the client.
7. Child Performers (Minor Artist Policy)
In compliance with Indian law (Child Labour Act, NCPCR guidelines), the following applies to all performers under the age of 18:
- Mandatory written parental consent
- Guardian co-signature on contracts
- Performance cut-off time: 7:00 PM (unless specially approved)
- Max work hours: 5 hours/day (with breaks)
- Education must not be disrupted
- Payments are made only to the guardian's verified bank account
- Any violation of child safety norms will be reported and may result in a permanent ban.

8. Content & Media Usage
Upon consent, ArtizenLive may use event footage, photos, or performance recordings for promotional purposes on:
- Social media
- YouTube
- Website and newsletters
Proper credit will always be given. Artists may revoke consent by notifying us in writing. Content will be removed within 30 business days.
9. Data Privacy and Protection
Your personal data is protected under our Privacy Policy. Key points:
- We collect only necessary information (name, contact, payment details, etc.)
- Your information is used for booking, billing, and communication only. We do not sell or rent your data to any third parties
- Media from events may be used for internal analytics and promotions
- Minors may access our content under supervision
- We comply with applicable Indian data protection laws
- Cookies and analytics are used for platform improvement. Please refer to our published Privacy Policy for more.
10. Force Majeure Clause
We are not liable for failure to perform due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Acts of God
- Natural disasters
- War or riots
- Government restrictions
- Public health emergencies
- Venue closures
In such events, refunds or rescheduling options will be evaluated on case-by-case basis.
11. Dispute Resolution
- All disputes shall be attempted to be resolved internally within 15 working days.
- If unresolved internally, the matter shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
12. Limitation of Liability
ArtizenLive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, or data. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by the client for the specific event in question.
13. Insurance and Damages
Clients are responsible for any damage to the venue or third-party property caused by their attendees or by artists booked through ArtizenLive. We strongly recommend clients obtain event insurance for public liability, property damage, and cancellations. ArtizenLive does not offer insurance unless specifically agreed in writing.
14. Third-Party Vendors
If clients hire vendors not affiliated with ArtizenLive (e.g., caterers, decorators, sound engineers), ArtizenLive holds no responsibility for their conduct, performance, or legal compliance. Any issues arising must be addressed directly with the vendor.
15. Artist Substitution
If a booked artist cannot perform due to illness, emergency, or force majeure, ArtizenLive will make all reasonable efforts to offer a suitable replacement. If none is acceptable to the client, a refund will be provided for the portion paid to the unavailable artist, excluding ArtizenLive's service fee.
16. Code of Conduct
All clients, artists, guests, and staff are expected to uphold professional behavior at events coordinated by ArtizenLive. Harassment, discrimination, or misconduct may result in contract termination without refund and possible legal action.
17. Intellectual Property Rights
All branding, artist portfolios, digital content, event formats, and promotional materials created or shared by ArtizenLive are protected under copyright law. Reproduction or commercial use is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.
18. Safety Compliance
18.1 Artist Safety Compliance
For the safety and security of all performers associated with ArtizenLive, it is mandatory that every artist, upon receiving a confirmed booking, informs the nearest local police station of their scheduled performance. This notification must be made at least 7 days prior to the event date. This measure is essential to ensure the artist's protection, build local awareness, and maintain transparency with local authorities. We strongly recommend keeping a written or digital acknowledgment from the police station for future reference.
18.2 Client Safety Compliance
For the safety of all involved and to ensure a smooth and lawful experience, we kindly request that all clients obtain prior permission from their local police station before hosting an event booked through ArtizenLive. This local clearance should be secured at least 7 days before the scheduled performance. By taking this responsible step, you help us create a secure, respectful, and uninterrupted celebration for both the performers and your guests. We appreciate your cooperation in making every moment truly unforgettable.
19. Amendments and Acceptance
ArtizenLive reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients and performers will be notified of substantial changes via email or public notices on our platform.
